THE GLYNN PURNELL EXPERIENCE

Glynn Purnell is a real Brummie, his Twitter name is @yummy_brummie and he was born and raised in Chelmsley Wood, in Solihull. Glynn owns and runs Michelin starred Purnell’s in Birmingham, Ginger’s Bar and Purnell’s Bistro. Winning dozens of awards for his inspired and adventurous cooking, Purnell’s opened in 2007 and was awarded a Michelin star in 2009.


Glynn has worked with ISS to develop the menus for the Jaguar Experience and Special Vehicle Operations to create a Best of British dining experience, using his own style of bold and innovative cooking that has brought him critical acclaim.


For the Special Vehicle Operations Glynn has created a casual menu that best shows some of his favourite dishes that he has come across on his travels and added his own twist. VIP’s will be served a selection of dishes that reflect Purnell's vision of cooking; in Glynn's words - Brummie Tapas.
